Mediation: Non-binding mediation can be a cost-efficient alternative to resolve or narrow a dispute. As a mediator, Cathy is prepared to work with the parties to tailor the process to the needs of the dispute, including half-day, full-day and multi-day mediation sessions, and, as appropriate, substantive discussions and exchanges in advance of any mediation session to pave the way for meaningful dialog. 

Arbitration: In insurance and reinsurance disputes that call for arbitration, Cathy brings her decades of experience handling cases nationwide and is committed to conducting arbitration proceedings diligently, efficiently and fairly.  

Early Neutral Evaluation: Early Neutral Evaluation offers a hybrid of mediation and arbitration, in which each party has the opportunity to present their case or claim, and Cathy will provide a neutral evaluation of the strength of the parties' evidence and arguments and, if requested, potential options for resolving or narrowing the dispute.  Such an evaluation may serve as a catalyst for more productive settlement negotiations, enhance communication between the parties and/or streamline the dispute before parties proceed with litigation or arbitration.
